This is a very special year for Spanish men and women, and for all those people devoted to Saint Teresa of Ávila . In this year 2015, the 500th anniversary of the birth of Santa Teresa is celebrated on March 28 . To commemorate this historic event, Pope Francis has granted all the dioceses of Spain the grace of the Teresian Jubilee Year .

All the Spanish dioceses and the Order of Carmel have turned to the celebration of the V centenary of the birth of Saint Teresa. Especially the Diocese of Ávila, with its Bishop Mons. Jesús García Burillo at the head, have developed a large number of events to commemorate the "birthday" of Santa Teresa to the height it deserves.

The Diocese of Ávila and its collaborators, through their Twitter accounts @TeresaAvila2015, @STJ500, @Avila_Turismo, @Avila_CyL, @auxirueda , among others, want to ensure that on March 27, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. (Spanish time) the hashtag #FelicidadesTeresa is a worldwide Treding Topic.
