Filling a liquid wax candle's reservoir is very simple.

Taking a series of precautions will ensure the process is carried out safely and cleanly.

Choose a location far from any flame sources to refill the candle’s reservoir, considering paraffin's flammable nature.

Opt for a surface that’s easy to clean in case of spills. Although rare, paraffin can leave tough stains due to its dense nature.

• Refilling steps

Begin by assembling all necessary items: paraffin, the candle’s reservoir, and its lid. Using a funnel is suggested to prevent spills, particularly with paraffin in 5-liter or similar large containers.

Remove the lid from the candle’s reservoir.

Carefully pour the paraffin into the reservoir using the funnel, if available, to avoid spillage. Fill to the desired level, ensuring not to overfill.

Once filled, securely replace the lid.

Perform two checks before reinserting the reservoir into the candle’s body: ensure the lid is secure and the wick is properly aligned.

By adhering to these guidelines, the refilling process will be safe, clean, and efficient, maintaining the candle’s quality and longevity.
