Communion linens set

This Catholic Church altar linens  is designed for use during the celebration of Holy Mass. The corporal, which derives its name from the Body of Christ, is used to hold the chalice and paten on the altar, providing a sacred space for the Eucharistic elements.

The pall, a reinforced square piece, serves to protect the chalice from dust and other external elements. The pall replaced the custom of folding the corporal over the chalice. This liturgical accessory holds symbolic importance in protecting the sacred contents of the chalice.

The purificator, in turn, is used to clean the chalice and paten after the consecration.

The lavabo towel, a simple and plain cloth, is used by the priest to dry his hands after the lavabo, an act symbolizing purification before the consecration of the bread and wine.
