The first of the pieces that make up the Mt. Carmel scapular is decorated with various Marian elements.

In the center of the composition there is an oval with the figure of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel. It is a printed and laminated image in which the Virgin Mary is represented sitting with the Baby Jesus on her lap. Saint Mary and the Child wear two golden crowns with a red interior on their heads. The faces of both are surrounded by golden halos. The Our Lady of Mount Carmel wears a brown dress, white shawl and a golden tunic. The Baby Jesus wears a pink suit. Both figures carry Scapulars in their hands. The Child carries one in each hand, while the Virgin only carries the brown scapular in her left hand. The oval is sewn to the Scapular with gold colored thread.

The outline of the Scapular has filigree embroidery in silver and gold thread. The shapes intermingle and form fleurs-de-lis at the corners of the scapular. The fleur del lis has been a Marian symbol since the origin of the Catholic Church.

The perimeter is finished with gold thread.

The second piece that is part of the sisters of Carmel brown Scapular is decorated with various embroidered Marian elements.

The center of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Scapular is adorned with a representation of the shield of the Order of Mount Carmel, known as the Carmelite shield. The two stars located at the top represent the sisters of Carmel who have already transcended the earthly plane. The Carmelite brothers and sisters who have reached Eternal Life and enjoy a sacred banquet at the side of Christ at the top.

The outline of the brown Scapular, like the first piece, is adorned with gold and silver thread embroidery. The perimeter is finished with yellow thread.
